Jonathan Livingston Seagull

I became reacquainted with Jonathan a few weeks ago. He is an old old friend.

It was a delight. The book by Richard Bach has always been one of my favourites, timeless in its’ pleasure and escapism but with a deep meaning.

Recently Richard added a fourth part to the story which he wrote with the original but didn’t publish.

It is so apt. Writing about control and ritualisation, and conformity. Shackling of ideas and freedom.

Worth a read if you get the chance.

I think there’s a seagull in everyone of us, who just wants to fly high and free.

And hey!

Let’s be careful out there!

Cheers

J.
