BIM Regions – New website –

For Immediate Release:

1 June 2016

BIM Regions launch their new website

On June 1st, 2016 BIM Regions launched their brand new website.

As you know the BIM Regions were set up in partnership with the Construction Industry Council and the BIM Task Group in 2012 to support the UK BIM programme.

The aim of the new website is to reach out across the industry and engage with partners and collaborators to help drive the BIM agenda forward. On the site you will find a list of all the Regional Hubs across the UK and Ireland; who our BIM champions are; information on events, resources, a list of who our sponsors and partners are along with information on the BIM4 Community – it is an all-encompassing site.

For our launch, Dominic Thasarathar from Autodesk has written a blog entitled ‘Connecting to the Future of Construction’ which can be read here. Lots more information will be added as awareness builds.

John Eynon, chair of BIM Regions adds “this site was created as a unified voice for the Regional Hubs across the UK and Ireland, where we aim to bring the community together. It is a resource for the industry by the industry.”
