  1. Best BIM Project –Micro Enterprise (1-10 employees)The case study should show an overall understanding of the BIM process and the maturity attained in working at Level 2. It should demonstrate how the BIM requirements were received and how they were understood. It should show how the relationship was managed with their client. It should de monstrate how the work flow was structured and how any potential risks were managed. The case study should clearly demonstrate active collaboration in achieving the efficient delivery of the required information and content.
  2. Best BIM Project – Small Enterprise (11-50 employees)The case study should show an overall understanding of the BIM process and the maturity attained in working at Level 2. It should demonstrate how the BIM requirements were received and how they were understood. It should show how the relationship was managed with their client. It should demonstrate how the work flow was structured and how any potential risks were managed. The case study should clearly demonstrate active collaboration in achieving the efficient delivery of the re quired information and content.
  3. Best BIM Project – Medium Enterprise (51-250 employees)The case study should show an overall understanding of the BIM process and the maturity attained in working at Level 2. It should demonstrate how the BIM requirements were received and how they were understood. It should show how the relationship was managed with their client. It should demonstrate how the work flow was structured and how any potential risks were managed. The case study should clearly demonstrate active collaboration in achieving the efficient delivery of the required information and content.
  4. BestBIMforKnowledgeSharingThis category is for any organisation, UK or International, which is providing information and knowledge sharing of processes, data, techniques, protocols etc. to educate or enhance the use and up take of BIM as an open source. The organisation is actively promoting and gifting this knowledge for the betterment of the AECO sector. This category is to recognise those contributions by bloggers, social media etc.
  5. BestSMENewcomerThis category is for those that have just started their BIM journey in the last 12 months. Why they joined the BIM revolution and what were the compelling points that encouraged the adoption of this process. What were the key challenges and what was achieved in this short time frame that was significant to the business?
  6. Best use of BIM for InnovationThis category should include technical, process, commercial or legal innovation showing acceleration, accuracyandefficiencyintasksduetotheadoptionofBIM. Thecasestudiesshouldhighlightthe innovation/s, the reasons for invention, how the inventions were implemented, what benefits they brought and most significantly are the inventions deployable to other businesses ?
  1. Best SME BIM TrainingThis can be from either a trainer or trainee perspective. This should highlight the need for training and how it added value to the business. Was the training accessible and deployable or was it bespoke to the requirements. The case study should show the benefits of training. If any certification or accreditation was awarded, did it add value for the business?
  2. Best implementation of Level 2 BIMThis category can be from a Client/Tier Contractor or a SME perspective. The case study must show how the Level2 components and associated standards are embedded into the business. It should also demonstrate how the department, organisation or business has gained distinct value after the implementation.
  3. Best International SME BIMThis should be from the perspective of the SME where the SME is directly employed by a client or a Tier contractor. The case study must articulate the structure of the support programme from the client or a tier contractor and what the SME had to do in terms of its engagement.
  4. Best Client for SME BIMThis should be from the perspective of the SME where the SME is directly employed by a client or a Tier contractor. The case study must deliberate the quality and structure information provided by the client and of the support programme from the client or a tier contractor and what the SME had to do in terms of engaging.
