Attended a great event tonight – a speed mentoring event organised by the 2050 group, at the offices of G+T , which strangely is also my favourite drink! (Hendricks with a slice of cucumber………priceless!)

Anyway this was a quick fire event, with mentees meeting mentors for 15 minutes to discuss whatever they want. Apparently there was over 500 years of industry experience in the room. I wasn’t sure whether i was pleased to hear that or not!

I met three delightful people tonight and a few others over drinks after. Very different people, very different questions but with common themes – passionate, aspiring, wanting to make a difference.

The industry is in good hands!
